About

  • The venue shares parking facilities.
  • The name of the nearest parking lot is Parking Lot 2.
  • The nearest University owned parking garage is the Prospect Avenue Garage.

  • Engineering Quadrangle B-Wing is a large wing which forms part of the greater Engineering Quadrangle.

Getting Inside

  • The approach to the building is step-free via a slope.
  • Engineering Quadrangle B-Wing has 8 entrances providing step-free level access, 1 external entrance (C-Wing main accessible entrance) and 7 internal corridor links.
  • The entrances are not differentiated by signage.
  • The main accessible entrance gives access to the C-Wing foyer on level 2.
    The B-Wing level 2 main corridor is directly ahead as you enter.
    There is corridor access to the B-Wing elevator which gives access to levels 1, 2, 3 and 4.
  • There is step-free level internal corridor link access from C-Wing on levels 2, 3 and 4, and from D-Wing on levels 1, 2, 3 and 4.
    There is an alternative accessible entrance on level 1 in D-Wing (north) which is closer to Parking Lot 2.
  • There is step-free level internal corridor link access to C-Wing level 1 and D-Wing level 1 via B-Wing.
    There is no route through C-Wing level 1 or D-Wing level 1 to or from other parts of the Engineering Quadrangle building.

Getting Around

  • It is possible to bypass all steps once inside the building.
  • Level 1 may be accessed either by elevator from level 2 or from D-Wing level 1 and the external D-Wing accessible entrance.
  • The main corridor width on level 1 may be reduced by gas cannisters.
  • The main corridor width is reduced on level 4 by a glass wall projection from a classroom.
  • Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish, and others having a patterned surface.
  • Resting or work areas can be found in C-Wing on levels 1, 2 and 3.

Restrooms and Changing Facilities Available

  • There are 2 restrooms with adaptations.
  • Restrooms with adaptations are located on level 2.
  • The transfer space within the restrooms with adaptations varies between left hand transfer and right hand transfer.

Entrance (Main Accessible Entrance)
