- Engineering Quadrangle D-Wing is a large wing which forms part of the greater Engineering Quadrangle.

Alternative access to levels 2, 3 and 4 may be gained by the A-Wing or J-Wing elevators.

Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free via a slope.
- Access to level 1 south end is via a step-free level external entrance from the Quadrangle.
- Engineering Quadrangle D-Wing has 13 entrances providing step-free level access. 2 are external entrances and 11 are internal corridor link entrances.
- The D-Wing accessible entrance gives access to D-Wing (north), the B-Wing level 1 corridor and the B-Wing elevator which provides step-free level access to levels 2, 3, and 4.
- A second external entrance gives step-free and level access to D-Wing level 1 south.
There are internal corridor links that give level access on levels 2, 3, and 4.
Getting Around
- It is possible to bypass all steps once inside the building.
- There is step-free level internal access between B-Wing and C-Wing on level 1, giving level access to B-Wing level 1 (north end) from the B-Wing elevator.
- There are internal corridor links that give level access to D-Wing from B-Wing at levels 1, 2, 3, and 4, from A-Wing at levels 2, 3, and 4, and from J-Wing at level 2 (2 entrances), 3 and 4.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish, and others having a patterned surface.
- There is 1 resting area on the level 2 corridor.
