About

Getting Inside

  • The approach to the building is step-free via slopes with gradients under 5%.
  • There is step-free access to the majority of the building.
  • Tarble Pavilion has 3 entrances, all providing step-free access via slopes.
  • 2 entrances are signed as 'Accessible Entrance' and 'FH-5' but the entrance from Lamb-Miller Fieldhouse is not signed.
  • The Accessible Entrance gives direct access to the reception and lobby area, which provides step-free access to the locker rooms and basketball courts.
  • The FH-5 entrance and Lamb-Miller Fieldhouse entrance have manual doors.

Getting Around

  • It is not possible to bypass all steps once inside the building.
  • Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish, or carpeted and smooth.
  • There are resting areas in some circulation and lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
