Access To (Level 1 Entrances)
- Pearson Hall-Theater is located in the center of the Lang Performing Arts Center and can be accessed on levels 1, 2 and 3.

Getting Inside
- The Theater has a smaller and a larger configuration depending on the events being held.
- There are 6 entrances into the Pearson-Hall Theater in its smaller configuration and 10 entrances into the Theater in it's larger configuration.
- There are level entrances via manual double doors on either side of the theater on level 1.
- There is a single manual door that provides level access to the balcony towards the left of the building on level 2.
. - The level 1 entrances are signed as 102 Pearson-Hall Theater.
- The entrances between levels 1 and 2 that are only available in the theater's larger configuration are signed as 101 Cinema.
- The balcony entrances on level 2 are signed as Balcony.
- The entrances to rear of the Theater's larger configuration are signed as Cinema.
The balcony entrances on level 3 are signed as Balcony. - There is a single manual door that provides level access to the balcony towards the left of the building on level 2.
- There is stepped access to the balcony entrances on levels 2 and 3 towards the right on the theater.
- If the Theater is in its larger configuration then it can be entered by the following entrances. These entrances do not enter the Theater in its smaller configuration.
- A set of 2 single manual doors to the left of the Theater on level 2.
- On the stairways to the left and right of the Theater between levels 1 and 2 there are manual single door entrances.
- A single door on level 2 to the right of the Theater. This can be accessed via stairway only.
Stairway
- The stairway surveyed is located around the theater / cinema.
- The floors which are accessible by stairway are 1, 2, 3.
- There are 20+ steps between floors.
- There are handrails on both sides.
- The handrails are easy to grip.
- The height of the handrails is 2ft 11in (88cm).
- The handrails cover the flight of stairs throughout its length.
- The handrails extend horizontally beyond the first and last step.
- The steps are clearly marked.
- The height of the highest step is 7in (17cm).
- The minimum tread depth is 11in (28cm).
- Lighting levels were even at the time of the survey.
