About

Getting Inside

  • The approach to the building is step-free via slopes of varying degrees of gradient.
  • There is step-free access to all areas of the building but you need to use ramps to access some parts.
  • Mullan Tennis Center has 5 entrances. All 5 entrances provide step-free access via slopes of varying degrees of gradient.
  • The entrances are signed as 'Michael L. Mullan Tennis Center', 'Accessible Entrance', 'MU-2', 'MU-3' and 'MU-4'.
  • The Accessible Entrance gives access to the Beebe Multipurpose Room on floor 1. There is step-free access to the rest of the building from here.
  • The Michael L. Mullan Tennis Center, MU-2, MU-3 and MU-4 entrances have sloped access with manual doors.

Getting Around

  • It is possible to bypass all steps once inside the building.
  • There is a slope down to courtside from floor 1 with a 9% gradient.
  • Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
  • There are seating areas in some circulation and lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
  • Wayfinding signage is provided in circulation routes and lobby areas to assist people in finding their way around.
