The nearest parking lot containing visitor parking spaces is Field House Lot. View information on visitor parking. - This residence hall is made up of 4 buildings.
- There are step-free standard rooms.
- This residence hall is made up of 4 lodges in total, 3 of them are being used as standard accommodation venues and one lodge (Lodge 4) is currently an office space.
The lodges share a courtyard with Worth Hall and Bond Memorial Hall. - There are 2 shared communal bedrooms in each lodge, one is located downstairs and one is upstairs.
There are standard communal bathroom facilities located upstairs in each of the lodges.
Getting Inside
- The approach to the Lodges is step-free via slopes with varying degrees of gradient.
The approach from Worth Hall is via a slope with a gradient of 3.7% and uneven surfaces.
The approach from Bond Memorial Hall is via a slope with a gradient of 5.3% and uneven surfaces.
The approach from the courtyard area is via a slope with a gradient of 4.6% and uneven surfaces. - There is step-free access to Floor 1 of all accommodation lodges, however the facilities on Floor 2 are only accessed by steps.
- Each individual lodge has its own entrance.
All entrances have ramped access and manual doors. - The entrances are signed as Lodge 1, Lodge 2, Lodge 3 and Lodge 4.
Lodges 5 and 6 are staff offices and Lodge 4 is a temporary staff office. - The entrance surveyed at Lodge 1 has step-free access via ramp and gives access to the ground floor communal bedroom.
- The entrances at Lodges 2 and 3 have manual doors and ramped access.
The gradient of the ramp is 2.3%.
The entrance at Lodge 4 has a manual door and ramped access with a gradient of 5.3%.
Getting Around
- The following areas have stepped access: the communal standard bathroom and communal bedroom on Floor 2 of the Lodge.
- Access throughout may include narrow corridors/walkways and narrow doorways/openings.
- Some flooring is shiny.
- There is a high visual contrast between the walls and floor in the majority of walkways.
- There is no (or very little) background noise.
- Wayfinding signage is not provided.
- Seating available in the walkways includes: chairs without armrests.
- Lighting levels vary due to the size of the space.

Stairway
- The stairway surveyed is located immediately ahead as you enter Lodge 1.

- The height of the handrail is 2ft 4in (72cm).
- The handrail covers the flight of stairs throughout its length.
- The handrail does not extend horizontally beyond the first and last step.
