Getting Inside
- The approach to the Faulkner Tennis Courts is step-free via slopes of varying degrees of gradient.
The approach from Sharples Lane is via a slope with a gradient of 8.9%.
The approach from Parrish Hall Road is via a slope with a gradient of 12%.
The approach to the stepped entrance of the tennis courts and spectator seating is via a slope of 2.7%. - There are 2 entrances into the tennis courts, both entrances are ramped and stepped.
- There is no distinguishing signage between the entrances.
- Access at the main tennis court entrance is via a ramp and a step with a double manual gate that has one gate locked.
- Access via the stepped entrance has 14 unmarked steps without handrails and a pathway leading up to it which is 68in (174cm) wide.
The stepped entrance has no opening.
After the steps there is a ramp onto the courts which has a gradient of 20.2%.
