Getting Inside

  • The approach to the building is step-free via slopes of varying degrees of gradient.
  • David Kemp Hall has 3 entrances, all of with provide step-free level access and have push pad operated automatic doors.
  • The entrances are signed as DK1, DK3 and DK4.
  • Entrance DK3 is located in the gap in the building and gives step-free level access to the west side of floor 1.
  • Entrance DK4 is also located in the gap in the building and gives access to the east side of floor 1.
    Entrance DK1 is located on the far side of the building and gives access to the west side of floor 1. There are double doors at this entrance, but only one door opens automatically. The other doors are locked.

Getting Around

  • Once inside, there is step-free access throughout the building.
  • The corridors are carpeted.
  • There is bench seating available in the corridor on floor 2 east and seats without armrests at the far west of floor 3.
  • Wayfinding signage is not provided within the building. However, each room and facility is clearly signed on the door.
