Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free via slopes with varying degrees of gradient.
- Primary access to Dana Hall is via the main entrance at Danawell (Dwell) Hall. There is step-free level access to all areas of the building, via the elevator in Danawell Hall.
- In addition to the outside entrance at Danawell Hall, Dana Hall has 7 entrances, 3 of which are outside accesses (two by key only); the remaining 4 being internal entrances from Danawell Hall on each floor.
There is step-free level access to Dana Hall via single manual doors at all 4 internal entrances. These doors are permanently held open on the second and third floors. - The internal entrance on the lower level of Danawell Hall is signed as "Dana".
The remaining 3 internal entrances inside Danawell Hall, on the first, second and third floors, are unsigned.
The outside accesses are signed as DA-1 and Exit Only doors: DA-2 and DA-3. - All 4 internal entrances inside Danawell Hall give direct step-free level access to the corresponding floor of Dana Hall.
There is no elevator within Dana Hall itself, but there is step-free level access to each internal entrance via the elevator in Danawell Hall. - The DA-1 entrance provides ramped/sloped access to the lower level of Dana Hall, via single manual door with a locked extension leaf.
The DA-2 and DA-3 doors (primarily exits) provide step-free level access to the lower level of Dana Hall, via single manual doors. A physical key is required to enter the building through either of these exits.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the building on all floors, and to all floors via the Danawell Hall elevator.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are comprised of shiny vinyl flooring, low-pile carpet.
