About

Getting Inside

  • The approach to the building is step-free and level.
  • There is step-free level access to and throughout the second floor of the building, via elevator.
    There is restricted internal circulation throughout the lower level of the building, and as such the front section of the lower level (containing some standard male and female restrooms) is accessible via stairway only.
    There is step-free level access to the standard restrooms at the rear of the building, via elevator.
  • Clothier Hall has 7 entrances; the accessible entrance - CL-7 provides step-free level access via automatic doors to the first floor.
  • The entrances are signed as CL-1, CL-2, staff entrance, CL-4, CL-5, CL-6, and accessible entrance - CL-7.
  • The accessible entrance - CL-7 gives direct access to the reception foyer at the front of the building, from which there is step-free level access through to the elevator at the rear of the building. This in turn provides step-free level access to the second and third floors, and the rear section of the lower level of the building.
  • Entrance CL-1 has step-free level access with manual doors.
    Entrance CL-2 has ramped/sloped and stepped access with manual doors.
    The staff entrance has stepped access with a manual door.
    Entrance CL-4 has stepped access with manual doors.

Getting Around

  • There is step-free level access to and throughout the second floor of the building, via elevator. There is restricted circulation throughout the lower level of the building; as such, access to the standard restrooms at the front of the building is via stairway only. There is step-free level access to the standard restrooms at the rear of the building, via elevator.
  • Floor surfaces along circulation routes inside the building are comprised of stone, low pile carpet, wood, concrete and vinyl; with the latter three having a shiny finish.
  • There are resting areas in circulation and lobby areas throughout the building with a mixture of seating.
  • Wayfinding signage is provided in circulation routes and lobby areas throughout the building to assist people in finding their way around.
  • There is an assistive listening system.
  • The assistive listening systems are located within the Tarble All-Campus Space on the second floor.
  • There is not a designated safe or quiet space.
