    • The Antioch Annex is used for meetings, youth groups, educational programs, and social events. The room has moveable divider walls and furniture, and a kitchenette. .
    • There are double manual doors to enter the room.
    • The doors have a high visual contrast.
    • The doors opens towards you.
    • The doors have pull handles.
    • The width of the opening is 4ft 5in (135cm).
    • The clear width of the elevator door opening is 28 inches on the Annex level.
      The maneuvering space in front of elevator is 54 inches wide and 60 inches deep.

  • The most accessible route to the elevator has step-free level access.
  • The floors which are accessible by this elevator are ground floor, annex (basement) level, main (chapel) level, choir loft (upper) level.
  • The elevator has a turning space of 30in x 48in (760mm x 1220mm) in front of it.
  • The external elevator control buttons have a high visual contrast.
  • All of the external elevator controls are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user (between 15in - 48in (380mm - 1220mm)).
  • The weight limit for the elevator is 750 lbs.
  • The elevator door has a high visual contrast.

  • One enters the elevator on either the wide side (33 inch clearance when the gate is open) or the narrow side (29 inch clearance when gate is open), depending on the floor being accessed.
  • To call the elevator, one needs to push the call button and turn the key at same time. The call button is located at 35 inches from the floor and the key is above it, at 37 inches.
  • Be aware that the door and gate clearance at the Annex level is only 28 inches, which may be too narrow for some wheelchairs.
