Access To
- Room 100 is located on level 2 of Robertson Hall, left as you exit the elevator.
- View information on Robertson Hall (opens new tab) .
- The most accessible route has step-free level access.
- There is Braille, tactile and written text signage on or near the door.
- The door to enter opens outwards and has a high color contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The door requires effort to open.
- The width of the door opening is 4ft 1in (124cm).
- There is an identical entrance on the opposite side of the room except that one of the doors can be activated by push plate.
Using the push plate gives an opening width of 25in (63.5cm).
There is an additional entrance to the rear of the room located off a stairway, meaning it has stepped access.
Room
- There is step-free level access in this area.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn (5ft x 5ft - 152.5cm x 152.5cm).
- There is space for a service animal to rest.
- There are chairs without armrests and fixed desks in this area.
- The tables are at a suitable height for wheelchair users.
- There is tiered seating with steps which have a wall mounted handrail.
- There is step-free level access to the speaker's area.
- The height of the speaker's desk is 2ft 4in (70cm).
- The height of the lectern is 3ft 4in (102cm).
- Lighting levels are adjustable.
