Getting Inside

Getting Around

  • It is possible to bypass all steps once inside the building, but there are some level changes via ramp on levels B/C and A to access certain areas as detailed below.
  • On level B there are 4 steps and a ramp to access level C which is located immediately to the left as you enter via the rear entrance.
    This ramp has a gradient of 8% and must be taken to access the classrooms on level C and all other levels of the building via the public elevator.
  • There is ramped access from the corridor on level A to a seating area by the main building staircase. This ramp has a gradient of 9%, and has handrails both sides.
  • There is step-free level internal access to Peretsman Scully Hall via levels A, 1 and 2 of the Neuroscience Institute through a corridor and shared study areas.
  • Floor surfaces along all main circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
    There are areas that have carpeted floors in the teaching room corridors on some floors.
