Access To
- Matthews Acting Studio 104 is located on level 1 to your left on entering the Lewis Center for the Arts.
- View information on Lewis Center for the Arts (opens new tab) .
- The most accessible route has step-free level access.
- There is step-free level access to enter.
- There is Braille, tactile and written text signage on or near the door.
- The door to enter opens outwards and has a high color contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The door requires effort to open.
- The width of the door opening is 2ft 9in (83cm).
- There is a similar second set of doors to enter the room which are easy to open.
There is also a set of doors to access the balcony on level 2.
Room
- There is step-free level access in this area.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to turn (5ft x 5ft - 152.5cm x 152.5cm).
- Some flooring is shiny.
- There are bench seats, stools and tables in this area.
- The tables are at a suitable height for wheelchair users.
- Lighting levels are varied.
- There is a balcony located on level 2, which can be accessed via the level 2 entrance.
