Access Guide

About

  • View information on Transportation and Parking Services (TPS) accessible parking (opens new tab) .
  • Visitors can park on campus in Stadium Drive Garage and in municipal parking garages and metered parking spaces in town.
  • After 4 PM on weekdays and all day on the weekends, University visitors may park in any numbered and non-restricted parking lots, including the Theater Drive Garage, Prospect Ave Garage, and Stadium Drive Garage.
  • TigerAccess is a complimentary curb-to-curb shuttle service available Monday through Friday for anyone needing to navigate campus with either a permanent or temporary disability. TigerAccess operates a wheelchair-accessible van accommodating up to three passengers (or two passengers when one is using a wheelchair). Please note that rides must be booked 24 hours in advance.

Getting Around

  • It is possible to bypass all steps once inside by using the elevator.

Exiting

  • There is step-free level access throughout the building via the elevator.
  • The garage has 7 pedestrian exits, 2 have step-free level access (the Accessible Exits), 4 have ramped access and 1 is stepped.
  • The exits are not named but are signed as exits.
  • Step-free level access is available either side of the vehicle entrance and exit at the front of the garage.
  • The ramped exits are on the left hand side of the garage, including 1 next to the elevator and stairway. The ramp has a gradient of 8%.
