Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free via slopes with varying degrees of gradient.
There are steps on either side of the building but these can be overcome by the slopes. - Guyot Hall has 6 entrances, 3 entrances provide step-free level access.
- Some entrances are signed as being accessible and have been detailed in this guide.
- The accessible entrance provides step-free level access to Level A and the elevator, which provides step-free level access to Levels 1, 2, M, 3 and 4.
- The 2 front entrances opposite Frist Campus Center and the entrance off Washington Road have stepped access with manual doors.
The 2 rear entrances give level access to Level B.
Getting Around
- It is possible to bypass all stairways once inside by using the elevators, meaning there is step-free level access throughout the building.
- There is internal access between Guyot Hall Level A and Moffett Laboratory Level 1, via 16 steps.
