About the Parking Garage
- Accessible parking is located on level 2 of the garage.
- The exit for visitors attending public tours is also on level 2.
- This exit gives access to the Welcome Center entrance where there is a security checkpoint.
- Visitors attending for legislative business should exit the garage via the visitor elevator at the Capitol Plaza level.
- They should then proceed to the Security Building.
- The visitor elevator is on the opposite (west) side of the garage from the accessible parking, which is located near the garage atrium.
- When guests return to the parking garage they can access it via the identical entrances in the garage atrium on levels 1, 2 and 3.
- There are elevators in the garage atrium which provide step-free level access to these entrances.
- Alternatively, if returning from legislative business, they might be able to re-enter at Capitol Plaza level via the visitor elevator but this would be at the discretion of security staff.
- There is step-free level access throughout the parking garage via the elevators.
- The levels in the parking garage are signed as 1, 2, 3 and P.
