Access Guide

About the Parking Garage

  • Accessible parking is located on level 2 of the garage.
  • The exit for visitors attending public tours is also on level 2.
  • This exit gives access to the Welcome Center entrance where there is a security checkpoint.
  • Visitors attending for legislative business should exit the garage via the visitor elevator at the Capitol Plaza level.
  • They should then proceed to the Security Building.
  • The visitor elevator is on the opposite (west) side of the garage from the accessible parking, which is located near the garage atrium.
  • When guests return to the parking garage they can access it via the identical entrances in the garage atrium on levels 1, 2 and 3.
  • There are elevators in the garage atrium which provide step-free level access to these entrances.
  • Alternatively, if returning from legislative business, they might be able to re-enter at Capitol Plaza level via the visitor elevator but this would be at the discretion of security staff.
  • There is step-free level access throughout the parking garage via the elevators.
  • The levels in the parking garage are signed as 1, 2, 3 and P.

    • The parking garage is located off West State Street and Barrack Street/Memorial Drive.
    • The parking garage is underground.

  • Accessible Parking Spaces View
