Overview

  • About View
    • Constellation offers audiences world-class theater and film. Each theatrical season features a mix of original plays and musicals, established works, family-friendly classics, and shows for young audiences. Constellation offers programs in several locations, with the main venue being the John Waldron Arts Center.
    • Facilities available in the venue include: The Waldron Arts Center venue featured in this guide has two performing arts spaces - The Rose Firebay Theater and the Whikehart Auditorium - as well as a three visual arts galleries.
    • The facility is newly renovated and now features a full-service lobby, lounge, and box office.

Getting Inside

  • The approach to the building is step-free and level.
  • There is step-free access to all areas of the building, which includes the use of elevators and ramps.
  • The building has two main entrances: 4th Street (step-free, accessible) and Walnut Street (sloped and stepped).
  • The 4th Street accessible entrance is signed "Waldron Arts Center" on a black and white canopy above the entrance. The Walnut Street entrance has a vertical, black and white banner to the left of the entrance that reads, "John Waldron Arts Center".
  • The 4th Street accessible entrance gives access to the 1st floor lobby area. To the left are the elevators, ahead and to the left is the Rose Firebay Theater, straight ahead are steps, to the right is a ramp leading down to the Educational Gallery and Constellation Meeting Room.
  • The S. Walnut Street entrance has 3 steps and leads into a foyer. The foyer has steps leading up to the Main Lobby and down to the Educational Gallery.

Getting Around

  • There is step-free level access throughout all areas.
  • The following areas have step-free access via ramps or slopes: There is a two-section, gentle ramp to get from the 1st floor to the Educational Gallery and Constellation Meeting Room on the ground level.
